On average, the average length of stay at AspenRidge Recovery is ninety days. However, there is no minimum length of stay, and clients are able to stay up to six months, if needed.

Are drug detox and alcohol detox services offered at AspenRidge Recovery?

At AspenRidge Recovery, we recognize the importance of going through a detoxification program, especially for those who are addicted to alcohol, benzodiazepines or opiates. During the initial days of abstinence from these types of drugs or alcohol, withdrawal can be very intense, even leading to severe medical issues such as seizures or stroke. For clients withdrawing from opiates, they have the option to use Suboxone for the purposes of detoxification. For those withdrawing from alcohol or benzodiazepines, we make the appropriate arrangements with local detox facilities to assist with the detoxification process. We work very closely with these local facilities, and during your detox phase, our clinical team is in direct contact with you and your case manager until you have detoxed and can return to our care.

Is AspenRidge Recovery a locked facility? Can I leave whenever I want to?

Our facility is not a locked facility, and you are able to leave if you choose to. We maintain a beautiful building with an outside area that’s perfect for enjoying some recreation or just relaxing on the deck.

What happens during the beginning of my stay at AspenRidge Recovery?

During the beginning of your stay at AspenRidge Recovery, you may or may not participate in drug and alcohol detox treatment, depending on your admission recommendations. You will take some time to get accustomed to the facility. You will also meet with your counselor and go over your personalized treatment plan. Fairly quickly, you will begin attending a 12 Step Program and other support groups.

How many counselors are on staff at AspenRidge Recovery?

There are currently nine counselors on staff at AspenRidge Recovery. Clients will work with several counselors during their inpatient stay to promote a collaborative treatment approach, including individual counselors and group therapists.

Will I see a doctor during my inpatient stay?

AspenRidge Recovery does not have a medical doctor on staff, however, if it medical treatment is necessary, we will make arrangements for clients to see a local physician.

Does AspenRidge Recovery offer gender specific inpatient treatment?

Absolutely! Having a strong support system is a very important part of your recovery, and we understand your need to communicate with your friends and family. All clients have access to phones at their residences, and they can make calls with their therapists during clinical hours as well.

What are the visiting hours at AspenRidge Recovery?

In general, clients can see their family members and other visitors on weekends. We ask that you make sure to schedule your visits with your families around our program schedule.

Will I be participating in group therapy while I’m at AspenRidge Recovery?

How often will I talk with my counselor?

We believe that it’s important for our clients to have regular contact with their counselors during the course of their stay at AspenRidge Recovery. Between your group sessions and your individual therapy sessions, you will receive approximately thirty hours per week of therapy. The amount of time you see your counselor will vary, depending on your need. However, you should expect to see him or her individually several times a week.

Will staff members be available for me if I’m having a particularly hard day and need extra support?

We understand that recovering from an addiction is difficult, and you are likely to have many more bad days than good days in the beginning. Staff members are on hand to talk with you when you need someone to talk to, and we’re happy to offer you the professional support that you need during your recovery.

Are there any extra activities that are offered at AspenRidge Recovery?

At AspenRidge Recovery, we are proud to offer several additional, outside activities for our clients, and we strive to make them therapeutic and fun. During the winter months, we enjoy several winter-themed activities together in groups. In addition, we regularly enjoy going to the movies, attending sporting events, and going hiking together.
